For The Love Of Spring and 2 Year Olds

I'm back! It seems like forever since I posted on this. I guess that's because there really hasn't been a lot going on as far as racing goes other than Maiden, Claiming and Allowance races. Not that their not important, it's just more interesting to write about trials, derby's and other stakes races. Oh and Futurity's! Did I mention that I love when the 2 year olds start running? Speaking of 2 year olds. They have started running, YAY!!! And it's going to be a busy upcoming weekend at Sunland Park for the W/G Racing crew with the trials for the West Texas Futurity this Friday, April Fools Day. Hopefully the rest of the field is fooled and we have a fantastic day...hehehe. We have 13 horses entered in the 9 trials as well as a couple others in open races. We also have the finals for the West Texas Derby on Saturday, April 2nd with Unashamed, owned by both Marty and Melvin Neugebauer. And we have a couple other horses entered in open races throughout the rest of the weekend. Busy, busy, busy! So come on out and support us if your in the area and good luck to all of those that have horses running this weekend. Wish I could be there. ~Cindy~

The Beginning of a New Year

We hope you all had had a very Happy Holiday and enjoyed the time with your family and friends. We want to wish you a great 2011 that will include happiness, good health, and fast horses.

We also want to take this time to THANK YOU all for your friendship and support with what we do. You put your trust in us and we appreciate it. Without you this all wouldn't be possible and we wouldn't be allowed to do what we love everyday.

We hope you are enjoying the blog especially now that the now 2 year olds are beginning to work. Wow how technology has changed. Who would have thought that one day owners would be able to watch their horses work and gate on the internet from their own homes in an entirely different State? Please provide us with any feedback and how we can improve the blog.

Thank you again for your business and we look forward to the 2011 Racing Season!!!
