Gone To The Mountain Named 2010 Champion Aged Stallion

On Wednesday, January 12, 2011, Gone To The Mountain, owned by Clyde Woerner, was named the 2010 AQHA Champion Aged Stallion. Congratulations to all the connections of Gone To The Mountain! WOW, what a ride!!! Thank you for the opportunity to train such a magnificent horse. It has been a great privilege and we have loved every minute of his exciting career.

Below was found in an article on the AQHA Racing website:

With a perfect record in 2010, Gone To The Mountain (PantherMountain-Lindys Bouquet by Fast Lindy) earned championship honors for the second consecutive year, this time in the aged stallion category. The 5-year-old bred and owned by Clyde Woerner last year was the sport's champion distance horse. This year, Gone To The Mountain won all three starts, Red Cell Sunland Distance Challenge (G3) and Master Salls Handicap, and earned $65,237. He was ridden by Freddie Martinez and trained by Wes Giles.
Gone To The Mountain wins the Red Cell Sunland Distance Challenge 4/4/10

Our Sincere Sympathy

Our most heartfelt thoughts go out to the family and friends of Jim Rittenhouse. Jim passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2011 in Riverton, Wyoming. Jim was not only a great client of ours but was also a great friend and will be greatly missed.

Most recently we had the privelage to train horses for Jim that have included Dancin La Jolla and currenlty in training are Tricky Cashanova and upcoming 2 year old, Dancin Tres.

The Beginning of a New Year

We hope you all had had a very Happy Holiday and enjoyed the time with your family and friends. We want to wish you a great 2011 that will include happiness, good health, and fast horses.

We also want to take this time to THANK YOU all for your friendship and support with what we do. You put your trust in us and we appreciate it. Without you this all wouldn't be possible and we wouldn't be allowed to do what we love everyday.

We hope you are enjoying the blog especially now that the now 2 year olds are beginning to work. Wow how technology has changed. Who would have thought that one day owners would be able to watch their horses work and gate on the internet from their own homes in an entirely different State? Please provide us with any feedback and how we can improve the blog.

Thank you again for your business and we look forward to the 2011 Racing Season!!!
