New Mexico State Fair Senor Futurity Trials

For those that follow our blog closely, I really apologize. I know that I am quite behind on updating it. It has been a crazy past month for me (Cindy).

On Friday, September 10th, the trials for the New Mexico State Fair Senor Futurity going 400 yards were held at The Downs at Albuquerque. We had 2 horses entered in the trials and were fortunate enough to have both of them qualify for the finals.

RGR Lyon A Tac, owned by David and Ross Hinkins, was in the 2nd of 5 trials and ran an outstanding race winning his trial by 3/4 of lengh in a time of 19.579 qualifying him the fastest for the finals.

Uncle Woody, owned by MJ Farms, was in the last trial and got into some trouble getting away a little slow and the bumped during the race. He overcome it and ran 4th in a time of 19.819 still qualifying 10th fastest for the finals.

The finals for the New Mexico State Fair Senor Futurity will be held on Saturday, September 25th (tomorrow). Told you I was behind, so sorry.

Congratulations to the connections of both RGR Lyon A Tac and Uncle Woody and Good Luck in the finals!
