Yesterday, July 31st, was the Master Salls Handicap and we won it with champion Gone To The Mountain, owned by Clyde Woerner, and ran 5th with Chocolate Mountain, owned by Lewis Dillree. Gone To The Mountain ran an impressive race in a time of 44.504 which was the second-fastest 870 yards in Ruidoso Downs history. Chocolate Mountain was forced out 7-wide on the turn and it just wasn't his day.

Today, August 1st, was the finals for the Zia Derby and we won it with Here Kittykittykitty, owned by Jay and Mary Lou Standefer. Here Kittykittykitty ran a incredible race on top most of the way against tough company winning by a neck.
Miracle Snow, owned by Melvin and Mary Neugebauer, ran 2nd in the Zia Handicap Stakes which also ran today. Miracle Snow ran a great race also against very tough company. He started a little behind but really gained ground on the end.
