The 2010 meet at Zia Park in Hobbs, New Mexico ended on Tuesday, December 7th. Again we had a another great meet with Wes and Jason and their great crew running things there.
Out of 54 starts, we had 11 first place finishes, 10 second place finishes, 5 third place finishes and 5 fourth place finishes. Our % for lighting the board was 57.4%.
A few of the highlights from the meet were when RGR Lyon A Tac, owned by David and Ross Hinkins, ran an impressive race finishing 2nd in the New Mexico Classic Futurity. And when Here Kittykittykitty, owned by Jay and Mary Lou Standefer, ran incredible in the trials for the New Mexico Classic Derby winning his trial by 1 1/2 lengths posting the fastest time and then ran a great race in the finals finishing 2nd getting beat only by a neck.
