2009 Champion Distance Horse

On January 13, 2010, the AQHA announced that GONE TO THE MOUNTAIN is the 2009 Champion Distance Horse. The announcement was made at the Heritage Place in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A big congratulations goes out to the owner, Clyde Woerner and all other connections! Congratulations on such a great acheivement. It has been a pleasure to have the opportunity train such a magnificent horse, so THANK YOU! The awards presentation will be held on March 6, 2010 at the AQHA Convention in Kissimmee, Florida.
