A Little About Us

W/G Racing Stables
It all started in 1981 when residential construction slowed down, I went to work for my dad, Ed Giles, as an assistant trainer. We would start horses in South Jordan and St. George, UT. And in the summer while my dad run horses in Evanston, WY, I along with my wife Jill and our kids Cindy and Jason would take horses and run in Rock Springs, Gillette and Casper, WY. I did this until my dad retired in 1993 and then went out on my own running horses in South Jordan, Roosevelt, UT, Evanston, Casper and Pocatello, ID. Around 1999 is when we started to run horses in Denver, CO and Farmington, NM. Since then we gradually started to run at Albuquerque, Ruidoso, Hobbs, and Sunland Park in New Mexico. Our main operation is at Frontera in Sunland Park. We continue to run horses all year traveling between Sunland, Farmington, Ruidoso, Albuquerque and Hobbs while Jason holds down the fort at Frontera. Cindy continues to live in Utah with husband Bradyn, daughter Peyton and son Houston where she does the bookkeeping and billing for our business. We are currently racing Sunland Park.
